India's star wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant played a brilliant innings on Day 4 of the first Test between India and New Zealand at Bengaluru. It was a typical innings from Rishabh Pant filled with strokes and attacking intent.
The left-handed batter came in to bat at the start of the day after Virat Kohli had been dismissed off the last ball on Day 3. There were speculations about Pant's fitness earlier after he had injured his knee while wicketkeeping in New Zealand's first innings.
But he got back on the field to bat at his usual position and looked at ease right from the start. Pant formed a great partnership with Sarfaraz Khan to bail India out of huge trouble. Unfortunately, he was dismissed just one run short of a well deserved hundred by the fast bowler William O'Rourke.
The twitter was buzzing after his brilliant knock and praised him for yet another magnificent Test innings. Despite his wicket, the users hailed him as the greatest wicketkeeper to have ever played for India.

Some players can neither be measured nor defined by their numbers. #RishabhPant is one of them. Don't worry about how many 100s he has scored or how many he has missed. Measure him by the impact he has on the game.
