India Legends have already played three matches in this Road Safety World Series and they have won all these matches. Another victory will confirm their spot in the semi-final of this tournament. After beating West Indies Legends and Sri Lanka Legends in the last year, India Legends restarted this tournament with a thrashing 10-wicket victory against the debutant Bangladesh Legends last Friday (5th March).

While Bangladesh Legends openers set up the 59 runs partnership, India Legends bowlers then dominated and took all the 10 wickets in the next 50 runs. Later, openers Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag comfortably finished the game in their familiar style where Sehwag smashed 80 not out off just 35 balls while Tendulkar scored 33 not out off 26 balls.

Among the Indian bowlers, Vinay Kumar (2/25), Yuvraj Singh (2/15) and Pragyan Ojha (2/12) all picked up two wickets each in that game.

England Legends have managed to start their journey in this Road Safety World Series in a strong way. They made their debut in this tournament last Sunday (7th March) when they faced Bangladesh Legends. After restricting their opponents to 113/5 (20 overs), England Legends chased down that target in 14 overs after losing 3 wickets.

Among the English bowlers, Chris Tremlett picked up two wickets as he had the bowling figures of 2-0-10-2. Chasing down that low target, openers Phil Mustard and skipper Kevin Pietersen provided a firing start of 46 runs partnership in just 3.4 overs. While Mustard scored 27 off 16 balls, Pietersen scored 42 runs off 17 balls. Darren Maddy was not out on 32 runs off 32 balls and England Legends comfortably won their first match by 7 wickets.
