The youngster admitted that only 11 players get a chance in the playing XI, so he is well aware of the intense competition at the highest level. He further mentioned that Pakistan selectors will closely keep an eye on domestic cricket, which prepares the players better, so he wants to make a mark there.

Nazir stressed that he doesn't look at the competition but rather focuses on himself. He just wants to maintain his fitness and keep himself ready for the opportunity.

On being asked how he is different from his competitors like Azam Khan, Haseebullah, and Mohammad Haris, Nazir pointed out that his standout qualities are his remarkable temperament and consistent performance.

Rohail Nazir was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan: “I think my temperament is very good. I have performed at every level, so I believe I can play in all three formats. I believe in my fitness and work a lot on it. This is my belief.”
