India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma is having a torrid time with the bat in the ongoing Test series against the Australia National Cricket Team. His woes continued even in the ongoing third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, which is underway at the Gabba in Brisbane.

Rohit Sharma walked out to bat at No.6 during the fag end of the Day 3. The skipper did well to stay unbeaten at stumps and it was expected that he would set the stage on fire in the ongoing game. With India under massive pressure, many backed the captain to lead from the front.

Rohit Sharma's sudden decline in Test cricket has been the biggest cause of concern for Indian team

Rohit Sharma, in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, has scored just 19 runs in three innings in the Australia tour as his woeful run continued. The skipper has already announced his retirement from the T20I after the T20 World Cup 2024 and it won't be a surprise if he calls time on his career in Tests too.

Rohit Sharma's sudden decline in Test cricket has been concerning. He looked in terrific touch in the England series at home in February earlier this year. However, in the latter half of the year, he looked torrid as he failed in both the series against Bangladesh and New Zealand.
