"Rohit Sharma looks finished in red-ball cricket" - Twitter slams India captain after another failure in Tests
The poor form of Indian captain Rohit Sharma continued at his home ground at Wankhede Stadium. Rohit added another low score to his disappointing run during the third Test between India and New Zealand in Mumbai.
The Indian skipper has been constantly troubled by Tim Southee during this series. However, it was Matt Henry who got his big wicket this time. Henry bowled a back-of-a-length ball just outside off stump.
The ball bounced a little higher than expected and Rohit could only edge it to Tom Latham at slip. The Indian captain was dismissed for 18 and it continued his dry run. As expected, he was slammed on social media for his poor run of form.

You don't have to be Southee, Hazlewood or Anderson to take Rohit Sharma's wicket in Tests.

You just have to run and throw a red ball at him and he finds a way to get out 🫡 pic.twitter.com/UcBdrO3Mr6

He made another glorious selfless 18 and departed. The most concerning thing is, he is getting out by the pacer when other Bateman are troubled by the spinners. That's, really concerning sign ahead of BGT. pic.twitter.com/fdHtIJHSl8

If Rohit is performing you can think of keeping him as a test captain.
— Sujeet Suman (@sujeetsuman1991) November 1, 2024
He has very little contribution in this format. Why do we need to keep someone who is the liabilities in the team? If the captain doesn't perform then tough for him to motivate others. pic.twitter.com/ycgrZgzkJA

India has Captain Intent
Another intentful 18 runs from Rohit after getting dropped twice, he is revolutionizing the way like no past captains could do. He could easily statpad a 100 here but got out selflessly without reaching the milestone.

Rohit Sharma's poor run continues
Rohit Sharma is having a poor Test season at home so far. In the two Tests against Bangladesh, he scored 42 runs in two Tests. He has scored just 80 runs in five innings against New Zealand so far at an average of 16.
His form is a huge concern for India ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. India will hope their captain to return amongst the runs as he is one of India's premier batters going in Australia.
