Michael Bevan spoke to CricketAddictor on Saturday and said, “Shubman Gill and Rohit are both used to opening and then you can have a bit of a problem for the opening slot. Rohit reportedly doesn’t have a good record in Test cricket overseas than he has at home. The Indian selectors have a tough decision to make.”
“Maybe, they may want to support Rohit, given his experience and quality. They might replace Gill and give him a chance in the next Test match as the game goes ahead,” Michael Bevan further said.
