India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma is all set to be available for the entire series against the Australia National Cricket Team. As per the reports in Sports Tak, it is learned that the opening batter will be playing the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, which will be played in Perth.

Rohit Sharma has been in the headlines for the last few weeks. There have been various reports that have claimed that the opening batter will be missing the first Test against the Australia National Cricket Team in Perth. This is because he and his wife are expecting their second child and it might clash with either of the first two Tests in Australia.

Even skipper Rohit, after the Test series against the New Zealand National Cricket Team, was asked by the reporters if he would be playing the Test match in Perth. The opening batter, however, clearly mentioned that he isn't sure, sparking more rumours about his unavailability.

With reports of Rohit not being available for the Perth Test, it created a sense of panic among the Indian fans. This is because his absence will leave a massive void in the team, as they not only will they miss a quality opener but also a leader at the start of the series.

As per SportsTak, Rohit might travel with Indian team to Australia for the first Test before returning back to India for birth of his child and then flying back for the second Test. This no doubt will be a massive boost for the India National Cricket Team as his presence will boost the confidence of the team, and they will be heading into the series with a full-strength team.
