In the absence of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma led the side in the series. The second match of the series saw India notching a huge total of 392 runs in the first innings. He brought up his century in 115 balls and took on the destructive mode after that. He scored the next 100 runs in just 36 balls. Rohit Sharma stayed unbeaten right till the end and managed to score 208 runs in 153 balls, a knock which was studded with 13 fours and as many as 12 sixes.
