It seemed to cricket fans that India captain Rohit Sharma’s Twitter account was hacked given the cryptic and obnoxious tweets that were sent out from his official handle on March 1, 2022. Rohit Sharma recently led the Indian team to their third straight 3-0 whitewash in limited-overs format this year.
He will also lead the Indian team now for the first time in Test matches. He will captain the side in the upcoming two-match Test series against Sri Lanka which begins on March 4 onwards. The first Test will be played at the IS Bindra Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) stadium in Mohali, Chandigarh. This match will also be former India captain Virat Kohli’s 100th Test for the Indian team, too bad it will be played in front of no crowd as BCCI announced that the Test will be played behind closed doors.

The next and second Test which will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will be the first day-night Test match between India and Sri Lanka, will see the crowd in the stadium, as the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) secretary Santosh Menon confirmed 50% crowd will be allowed.
Fans Worry As They Suspect Rohit Sharma’s Twitter Account Seemingly Hacked
However, on March 1, fans were suspecting something was amiss as India captain Rohit Sharma posted a couple of tweets that were out of order. One tweet talked of buzzing beehives, while the other was about coin tosses which were tasty.

“Bzz….! Did you know? Buzzing beehives make for great boxing bags!,” Rohit tweeted.
