Fans on Twitter reacted after Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) all-rounder Glenn Maxwell bagged another failure in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The Eliminator of the tournament between Rajasthan Royals and RCB is underway at the Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Glenn Maxwell, who has been going through a torrid run in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 had another bad outing. It was expected that with a big game in the fray, the all-rounder would set the stage on fire and step up for his team.

However, it wasn’t the case as Glenn Maxwell bagged a golden duck at the Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad. The batter perished to Ravichandran Ashwin in the 13th over the game.

Glenn Maxwell went after Ravichandran Ashwin right from the ball 1. However, he couldn’t get going as he was caught straight to long-on. The all-rounder gave his wicket away in the big game and it put Royal Challengers Bengaluru under pressure.

Glenn Maxwell this year has looked torrid. He has the second-worst average for a player batting in the top 6 in an IPL season. The all-rounder has an average of just 5.77 and is behind Devdutt Padikkal, who is averaging just 5.42 this season.

This was Glenn Maxwell’s fourth duck in the season. Overall he has scored 52 runs in the ongoing season with a strike rate of 120. He now would be hoping to tilt things for his team with the ball in the ongoing game against Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad.
