The 25-year-old Maharashtra captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, who opens the innings for his side, has smashed yet another century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022, this time in the final of the tournament to achieve a sensational milestone.

Ruturaj Gaikwad has been in absolutely excellent form in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022 as he smashed a marvellous double century in the quarter-final against Uttar Pradesh, a century in the semi-final against Assam and then a century in the final against Saurashtra.

The summit clash of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022 was played between Maharashtra and Saurashtra at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday, December 2.

Losing the toss and batting first, Maharashtra were able to post 248/9, with the help of Gaikwad’s century and other batters’ decent contributions.
