“Sad How Some People Are So Thirsty For Fame And Name” – Rishabh Pant Takes A Dig At Urvashi Rautela, Later Deletes His Story

Star India National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant took to Instagram to share a cryptic message on his story where he was seemingly taking a dig at the Bollywood actress and Miss Diva Universe 2015, Urvashi Rautela. Later the 24-year-old also deleted his Instagram story.

The wicketkeeper-batsman Pant recently participated in the five-match T20I series against West Indies National Cricket Team, where India won by 4-1. Pant has been rested for the India tour of Zimbabwe 2022 and he will be next seen in action in the Asia Cup 2022, which is scheduled to be played from August 27 to September 11 in UAE.

Talking about the matter between the Bollywood actress Urvashi and Indian cricketer Pant, they were reportedly dating each other back in 2018, but before the pair made anything public they broke up. Some reports came out suggesting that Pant had blocked Urvashi on WhatsApp as he wanted to end things with the Bollywood actress. Some other media reports stated that the pair had mutually decided to part ways and they took the decision to block each other on the popular messaging app.

Recently, Urvashi, during her interview with Bollywood Hungama, talked about ‘Mr. RP’ who waited for hours in a hotel lobby to meet her and fans speculate that she was talking about the star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant.

After Urvashi’s interview became the talk of the town, the 24-year-old cricketer took to Instagram to take take a dig at the Bollywood actress, without mentioning her name, and stated that “some people are thirsty for fame and name”. He also added two hashtags in his story, which meant ‘leave me alone sister’ and ‘there is a limit to lying’. He stated:

“It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meagre popularity and for hitting headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them. #merapichachorhoBehen #jhutkibhilimithotihai.”

During an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Urvashi Rautela recalled an incident, saying that ‘Mr. RP’ had waited for hours to meet her and she had received 16-17 phone calls from him. She added that later they had met in Mumbai where they were captured together by paparazzi.

“I was shooting in Varanasi, and I had a show in New Delhi thereon, so I had to take a flight. In New Delhi, I was shooting a full day, and after about 10 hours of shooting, when I went back, I had to get ready, and you know that girls take a lot of time to get ready. Mr. RP came, he sat in the lobby, and waited for me, and he wanted to meet. I was so tired that I dozed off to sleep, and I didn’t realize that I had received so many calls,” Urvashi said.

“So, when I woke up, I saw 16-17 missed calls, and I felt so bad that someone was waiting for me, and I didn’t go. Out of respect, because a lot of girls don’t care about making someone wait, out of that show of respect, I told him that let’s meet when you’ll come to Mumbai. We met in Mumbai, and the paps surrounded us, and the other day it became such big news.

“I won’t add much to this, but it’s just that it’s very important to give respect to the other person, but I feel like media exaggerates even the smallest thing that is under development and ruins it completely,” she further narrated.
