SRH's uncapped pacer Sakib Hussain bamboozles Shivam Dube before he ends another stellar spell for the Orange army in this edition of the TATA IPL 2026.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have one of the fiercest batting units in this edition of the IPL. Moreover, the likes of Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen have been playing some fine knocks for their side. Despite this, the team struggled with the ball in hand as they failed to defend even massive totals.
The story finally and truly changed for the Sunrisers when they brought the two uncapped pacers on board. Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain lit up the stage against the Rajasthan Royals, handing them an unbelievable win against the tournament's best side.
Sakib Hussain bamboozles Shivam Dube with an absolute ripper
Sakib Hussain, despite not finding himself among wickets early in the game, bowled a fine spell, not giving away too many runs. The Bihar pacer, who formerly played with CSK as a net bowler, nailed his yorkers right on the money and deceived all with change-of-pace deliveries.
Standing tough against Shivam Dube, he pitched one right on the wickets, and the delivery took the top of the middle. The stumps uprooted and the bails flying back, what a sight for a young pacer like Sakib. The new SRH speedgun has done it for his team, dismissing the dangerous Dube.

Shivam Dube came in to bat at no. 7 for the Chennai Super Kings, and he seemed a very crucial player in the death overs during the chase. Dube could not manage more than 21 runs off just 16 balls, while striking at 131.25.
Eshan Malinga, Nitish Reddy and Sakib Hussain hand SRH a promising victory
The Sunrisers were not a promising side with the ball until the two uncapped pacers stepped in. However, Hinge was slammed for runs by young Mhatre before Nitish Kumar Reddy stepped in with the new ball from the other end.
Reddy picked up two wickets in the innings, while Eshan Malinga also picked three wickets as he struck in almost every over of his spell except for the final over of his spell. He finished with a spectacular figure of 3/29. Malinga is their key wicket-taker in the season.
The spinner Shivang Kumar was the only spinner in the match as SRH could not bring in Harsh Dubey as the impact spinner. He bowled a spectacular spell of 3 overs, picking up a wicket while sparing just 18 runs.
Praful Hinge held his nerve as the Sunrisers won in a last-over thriller
The pacer from Vidarbha had the upper hand in the previous game for the Sunrisers Hyderabad as he became the first bowler in the history of the IPL to have picked three wickets in the very first over of a game.
He dismissed four out of the five Rajasthan Royals top-order batters and was picked as the player of the match despite Sakib Hussain finishing with better figures in the last game. However, after giving away runs at an economy of 18 in the first three overs, Hinge defended 18 runs off the final over.
He just gave away 7 runs in the final over and helped his team win the game by 10 runs. He also dismissed Jamie Overton in the same over and clinched his first wicket of the game.
