Sapna Gill Seeks FIR Against India Batter Prithvi Shaw

The saga between Sapna Gill and Prithvi Shaw has taken a new twist. The social medial influencer has sought registration of an FIR against the Indian batter. Not only this she also is seeking registration of an FIR against a few members of the police who didn’t file her case of being molested and assaulted by Delhi Capitals batter.

Sapna Gill’s advocate Ali Kaashif Khan has pleaded that Prithvi Shaw along with his friend molested and abused her client. The social media influencer has already submitted the medical proof of the molestation, according to which the batter has committed the crimes as there were bruises on her right arm, and on her chest.

The FIR against Shaw however wasn’t registered as police officials said that Sapna cannot register FIR before taking permission from the court. Her lawyer Ali Khan said that it was a fit case for registration of an FIR against them under sec 166A of the Indian Penal Code, which deals with public servants disobeying the law.

Ali Khan’s pleaded that FIR should be registered against Prithvi Shaw, his friend Ashish Yadav and police officials. Heading to his request, Magistrate VC Gawai said that the order would be passed on May 26.

Sapna Gill is currently on bail after Prithvi Shaw filed a complaint against him regarding an attack on the batter following an argument over clicking selfies at a suburban hotel in Mumbai in February this year. On the other hand, the social media influencer said that it was the cricketer and his friends who had instead abused them.

Prithvi Shaw having a horrible IPL 2023
