Sarfaraz Khan spills India's dressing room secrets involving Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Gautam Gambhir

India's latest batting sensation Sarfaraz Khan has revealed the golden words that he received from captain Rohit Sharma, head coach Gautam Gambhir, and Virat Kohli after his maiden Test hundred.

Sarfaraz finally scored his long-awaited maiden international hundred against New Zealand at Bengaluru. His enterprising innings were full of entertainment with some eye-catching shots against both the spinners and the fast bowlers.

He was cheeky against the quicks and played powerful sweeps against the spinners. The talented right-hander reached his hundred off just 110 balls. Sarfaraz was dismissed for a magnificent score of 150 off 195 balls with 18 fours and 3 sixes.

After the end of Day 4, Sarfaraz Khan spoke about his dream day. The youngster revealed the moment when he received appreciation from great India players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Gautam Gambhir in the dressing room.

"It feels so good when a big Captain & player like Rohit (Sharma) bhaiya, big player like Virat (Kohli) bhaiya & Gautam (Gambhir) sir tells you well played, so it was a proud moment for me," Sarfaraz said to the BCCI.

Sarfaraz visibly received a rousing reception from the Chinnaswamy crowd after he was dismissed by Tim Southee for 150. As he went into the dressing room, he was greeted with huge clapping from the whole support staff and the players.

During his impressive innings, Sarfaraz was involved in an excellent partnership with Kohli on the third day of the Test match. The right-hander spoke about batting alongside Virat Kohli and sharing the dressing room with the India legend.

"I used to watch & follow Virat bhaiya since childhood. It's like a dream come true moment for me to play alongside Virat bhaiya & share dressing with him," Sarfaraz added.

The partnership between Virat Kohli and Sarfaraz Khan

Virat Kohli and Sarfaraz Khan shared a vital partnership of 136 runs for the third wicket in India's second innings on Day 3 of the Test. It was a magnificent partnership as both the batters looked to dominate New Zealand's bowlers.

Kohli pushed himself to No. 3 to accommodate Sarfaraz at No. 4 in the batting line-up. The partnership came at a run rate of 5 runs an over as both of them were aggressive throughout their partnership. Unfortunately, Kohli was dismissed in the last ball of the day.
