"Seriously finished in T20s, should open duck farm" - Virat Kohli brutally trolled after bagging second duck in T20 World Cup 2024

Virat Kohli's horror run with the bat in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024 continued on Monday (June 24) as he was out for a duck in the ongoing game between India and Australia.
India needed a good start from their star openers - Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma - in the crucial Super 8 game after Australia won the toss and opted to bowl first. While India are in a very good position after winning their first two Super 8 games, a loss against Australia does have the potential to knock them out of the tournament.
In such a pressure situation, India would have liked to get a good start from Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. However, the former India skipper could not even open his account and departed for a duck in the second over of the game. It is his second duck in the ongoing tournament. Earlier, he could not open his account against the USA as well.
On the fourth ball of the over, Hazlewood sent back Virat Kohli with a short ball. The India opener went for a pull shot but ended up top-edging the ball towards wide mid-on where Tim David took a fine running catch. The latest failure has further extended Virat Kohli's dismal campaign in the T20 World Cup.

The veteran batsman is yet to touch the 40-run mark in 6 innings in the tournament. In the group stage, he managed to score only 5 runs from 3 games, registering scores of 1, 4 and 0. He did get the starts in the first two Super 8 games but could not convert them into big scores, scoring 24 and 37 against Afghanistan and Bangladesh respectively.
Unsurprisingly, the fans were left disappointed with Virat Kohli's latest failure and did not take long to troll and criticize him after he was out against Australia.
Here are some of the reactions to Virat Kohli's duck against Australia:

Talking about the game, India were on 43 for 1 in the 5th over when rain stopped play in St Lucia. While Virat Kohli got out cheaply, his partner Rohit Sharma has looked in brilliant touch so far. Of the 43 runs that India have scored so far, he has scored 41 of them from just 14 balls with the help of two fours and 5 sixes.
