Shai Hope goes unsold at IPL Auction 2025

Shai Hope has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 1.25 crore. The West Indies star played for Delhi Capitals in the last edition of the IPL.

The right-handed batsman made his debut in the IPL earlier this year while plying his trade for the Delhi-based outfit. He played 9 games and scored 183 runs at a strike rate of 150.

Apart from the IPL, Shai has also played in the Caribbean Premier League, the Pakistan Super League, and the Bangladesh Premier League.

Overall, he has played 137 T20s and has scored 3286 runs with the help of one century and 16 half-centuries. In international cricket, Hope has played 39 T20Is and has scored 847 runs with the help of five fifties. He has also represented West Indies in 38 Tests and 130 ODIs.
