Shakib Al Hasan goes unsold at IPL Auction 2025

Shakib Al Hasan has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 1 crore. The former Bangladesh captain's last appearance in the IPL came in 2021.
One of the greatest allrounders of this generation, Shakib's IPL journey began with Kolkata Knight Riders in 2011. He played for the Knight Riders till 2017 and won two titles during this period. Ahead of the 2018 season, Shakib was signed up by Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The Bangladesh great played two seasons for the Hyderabad-based outfit before returning to the Knight Riders in 2021. Overall, he has played 71 games in the IPL so far. In those 71 games, Shakib has taken 63 wickets and scored 793 runs with the help of two fifties.
