It's about angles! Nasser Hussain criticizes Shan Masood's inability to handle Ben Duckett's batting
Former England skipper Nasser Hussain revealed how Shan Massod should have tried and tested some tactics against Ben Duckett in the 1st innings.
Like a batter, Nasser Hussain also showed how Ben Duckket plays sweeps and how Shan Masood could have troubled him with his bowlers in the ongoing game in Multan. According to Nasser Hossain, it is all about angles.
"When we had tours of the subcontinent, Duncan Fletcher was a massive believer in the sweep. He loved to play that slog sweep, he loved Marcus Trescothick for the sweeps he had, he loved Graham Thorpe", Nasser Hussain said.
"It is a nightmare as an opposition captain, but as a left-hander, Ben Duckkett must know that if he's got Nouman Ali bowling outside off stump, out here, when he plays that hard sweep, it is impossible to hit it hard just on angles",
"The game's about angles. If it's out there in the rough, it is impossible to do that. He might scoop you there, but the hard sweep is either going to go in front, or it's going to go square".Nasser Hussain further said.
