India National Cricket Team all-rounder Shivam Dube has achieved a historic feat in the T20Is. The Southpaw became the first-ever cricketer to win 30 consecutive games in his career in the shortest format of the game in international cricket.

Shivam Dube achieved the feat after the fifth T20I of the series between the India National Cricket Team and the England National Cricket Team. The match between the two teams took place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday (2nd February).

Shivam Dube contributed for India with bat and ball in the fifth T20I

India National Cricket Team won the last match of the series against the England National Cricket Team by a massive margin of 150 runs. One of the key performers for the Suryakumar Yadav-led side was none other than Shivam Dube, who oozed his class with bat and ball.

Dube played a vital hand for the India National Cricket Team while batting down the order. If it was Abhishek Sharma who slammed a magnificent ton, Dube ensured that he cashes on the platform and kept the momentum in the India court by batting aggressively.

Dube played a brutal innings of 30 in 13 balls to help India post a daunting total of 247-9 in 20 overs. If this was not enough, he then troubled England National Cricket Team batters with the ball as he removed Phil Salt and Jacob Bethell to help India win.

Shivam Dube originally wasn't part of the Indian team for the T20I series against England

Notably, Dube originally wasn't part of the Indian team for the T20I series against England. He was added to the team as a replacement player after Nitish Kumar Reddy was ruled out of the series with a side strain. He, along with Ramandeep Singh, was added to the team.

Dube played the fourth game of the series and made an immediate impact on his return. He hit a magnificent half-century when India National Cricket Team was under pressure and lost quick wickets at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

Shivam Dube played an innings of 53 runs and helped the team win the game and take an unassailable lead of 3-1. The all-rounder, with the series win against England, recorded his 30th consecutive win for the team. He made his debut for India against Bangladesh on November 3, 2019 in Delhi.

He didn't win the game in his first outing and, after that, lost the fifth T20I that he played for India, which was against Bangladesh. However, since then, he hasn't lost a single game for the team in T20Is and would be keen to carry forward the same record for the team.

If Dube plays, India wins, 30-0 and still going strong - Chennai Super Kings lauds Shivam Dube

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) also lauded Shivam Dube for the incredible feat and wrote: "If Dube plays, India wins. 30-0 and still going strong #WhistlePodu #INDvENG," it captioned the picture, the text of which read, “Longest streak without defeat in men’s T20Is! 30-0. Since 11/12/2019,"
