Pakistan did not have the best of times as they collapsed against Zimbabwe to lose by 19 runs in a low-scoring game under their new leader Babar Azam in the second T20i. The Brendan Taylor-led side managed to post 118 on the board in their first innings and it looked like Pakistan is going to complete the chase easily at one stage.

However, Zimbabwe managed to do their best in the bowling department and Luke Jongwe’s four-wicket haul meant that Pakistan was all out for just 99. It was a stellar effort from the Zimbabwe team and their excellent performance leveled the series 1-1 with a decider to be held tomorrow. The Pakistan experts weren’t happy with the team’s performance and management was criticized.

Shoaib Malik Slams The Management

The Pakistan batsman Shoaib Malik wasn’t impressed by the management’s decisions and he took it to Twitter. He condemned the management for considering the likes and dislikes in a tough pandemic situation while selecting players. He added that the captain must be given the freedom to make his own decision rather than the management involving.

“when your management relies on likes & dislikes especially when your cricket is just in surviving mode, then what else do expect as a nation? On top of that when you don’t let your captain take decisions this is bound to happen… #Cricket #Pakistan.” tweeted Shoaib Malik

Shoaib Malik Calls For International White Ball Coach

Shoaib Malik expressed his dislike in the decisions of the management and termed the coach as ‘unacquainted’ for the way they have been handling the team. He wanted Babar Azam and the chief selector to have more of the say and called for an international white-ball coach who has experience in understanding the game.

“Unacquainted decision-makers need to take a step back; Babar & the chief selector need to call the shots. In my opinion, we need an international white-ball coach who understands cricket inside out & grooms our captain whilst giving clarity to our players for coming time…” he tweeted
