IND vs SA: Watch - Shreyas Iyer Takes A Well-Judged Catch In The Deep To Dismiss Rassie van der Dussen

Shreyas Iyer got into the thick of things in the third ODI as he held on to a well-judged catch in the deep to send back India’s nemesis, Rassie van der Dussen.

Quinton de Kock and Rassie were going great guns with the former even reaching his sixth hundred against India in just 16 innings. Once he was dismissed, the floodgates opened up for the Indians.

In the very next over after de Kock’s dismissal, Rassie also headed back to the pavilion. He tried to slog sweep Yuzvendra Chahal’s tossed-up delivery and ended up skying it.

Iyer ran across to his right and made a diving effort to nail the catch and dismiss the dangerous Rassie. The wicket also exposed the lower middle-order, which hasn’t seen a lot of action due to the South African top-order firing on all cylinders.

South Africa was put in to bat by KL Rahul and they were in trouble at one stage, losing three wickets for 70 runs. De Kock and Rassie then joined hands to stitch a 144-run association which brought the hosts back into the game. The final ODI is being played in Cape Town and it is a dead rubber considering SA has already secured the series.
