As per the report in the Times of India, it is learned that the batter was fine and had an informal training session.

Gill also looked magnificent with the bat in the game against Pakistan National Cricket Team. The batter dominated the pacers, in particular, Shaheen Afridi, and took his team off a flying start with the bat, ending with an innings of 46 runs.
Gill, who is currently the No.1 ranked ODI batter, will be essential for the India National Cricket Team in the game against the New Zealand National Cricket Team as well as the semi-final.
