Keemo Paul missed an absolute sitter. West Indies could have gotten rid of the India National Cricket Team captain Shubman Gill early in the 1st of the 3-match ODI series tonight (September 27) at the Greenfield Stadium.
The ball travelled straight into the fielder, but Keemo Paul could not hold on to it and created a mess. What could have been an easy catch, the fielder let the entire West Indies National Cricket Team down at that moment.
Keemo Paul drops a sitter off Shubman Gill
On the first delivery of the fifth over of the second innings, West Indies pacer Jayden Seales placed the ball full and wide. Shubman Gill sliced the ball towards the point region where Keemo Paul was posted.
Paul was exactly on the line of the ball, but he failed to manage himself in the position to grab the ball. The ball hit Paul's palms and fell on the ground. Shubman Gill survived.
