India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed his fourth Test hundred against Australia at Optus Stadium, Perth. It was a memorable knock from the youngster who turned the heat on Australian bowlers in the second innings and ground them down.

Jaiswal's knock had everything that a Test knock should have. The left-hander was cautious early on in his innings. He was patient during a magnificent spell of fast bowling by Josh Hazlewood and did not give his wicket away.

Jaiswal feels at home in Perth Test

On Day 3, he came out with an attacking intent and made full use of loose deliveries. He reached his hundred off a brilliant six through a ramp shot over the wicketkeeper's head. His knock was celebrated by the fans on social media as he was lauded for an excellent knock in different batting conditions.

It was Jasiswal's first Test match on Australian soil and the left-hander made a statement right away. The youngster has piled on loads of runs in his Test career so far and he has continued his good form here as well.

Yashasvi adapted well to different batting conditions in Perth which had some pace and bounce in it. After being dismissed for a duck in the first innings, he made a superb comeback to slam a memorable Test hundred.
