Pakistan skipper Babar Azam reacted to Aakash Chopra’s Fab Four comment. He said that everyone has their own opinion but he focuses on his job, which is to keep scoring runs and performing for his team.
Aakash Chopra recently hogged the headlines when he commented on Fab Four. The cricket-turned-commenter said that Fab Four is no longer a term and it’s just Fab Three as Virat Kohli hasn’t lived up to the expectations.

Fab four is a term given to specialists batter of this generation that includes Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, Steve Smith, and Joe Root. Aakash Chopra also mentioned that Babar Azam has the potential to enter Fab Four but he hasn’t reached that status just yet. The Pakistan skipper has risen in the ranks in the last few years and is currently rated one of the best batters.

Reacting to Aakash Chopra’s comment, Babar Azam said that everyone has a point of view and his name will come everywhere if he keeps performing. Speaking to reporters ahead of the first Test against Sri Lanka, he said:

“Everyone has their own point of view and opinion. My job is to perform. All the records I have broken thus far were due to my performances. My focus is to keep giving performances, so the name will keep coming everywhere by itself.”
In just a short span of time, Babar Azam has achieved a lot and with the way he’s going, it is fair to say that some major records will be in trouble. He is touted as the backbone of the team and has shined for Pakistan on big stages and is breaking numerous records along the way.
SL vs PAK: Babar Azam to be seen in action against Sri Lanka next
Babar Azam will be next seen in action when Pakistan will tour Sri Lanka for the two-Test series.
The first Test is scheduled to start at the Galle International Stadium on July 16. Whereas the second game is slated to take place from 24th July. This will also mark the second edition of the WTC for both teams.
