SL vs PAK: Watch- Hasan Ali Helps Groundsmen Cover The Field As He Enjoys Himself In The Rain

While rain played spoilsport on day two of the ongoing second Test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan in Colombo, fast bowler Hasan Ali decided to have some fun in the wet outfield.

The rain brought an early end to the second day’s proceedings in the Sri Lankan capital. On day one, Pakistan had put themselves in the driver’s seat. The visitors had bowled out the hosts for just 166. Dhananjaya de Silva scored a fighting fifty but it was not enough for his team to post a good total.

For Pakistan, spinner Abrar Ahmed picked up four wickets while pacer Naseem Shah accounted for three wickets. With the bat, Pakistan were on 145 for 2 at stumps with Abdullah Shafique batting on 74 and captain Babar Azam unbeaten on 8.

Pakistan’s hopes of extending their advantage on day two took a big blow due to persistent rain. After a long delay, the game finally began under gloomy skies. The action, however, could not continue for long as only 10.3 overs were possible before rain interrupted again. And the umpires eventually decided to call the day off. Pakistan were on 178 for 2 at that stage.

Hasan Ali enjoys wet outfield:

As the rain was pouring heavily in Colombo, Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali decided to have some fun. The fast bowler, who is known for his humorous nature, was seen helping the ground staff cover the field in the rain. In one instance, he also slipped under the covers.

Meanwhile, the weather forecast for the third day of the Test is not promising either. Pakistan are currently leading the series 1-0 after winning the first Test. If the ongoing Test ends in a draw, Pakistan will clinch the two-match series.
