Pakistan leg-spinner Yasir Shah took two wickets in the first innings against Sri Lanka to become Pakistan’s fifth-highest wicket-taker in Tests, overtaking the likes of Abdul Qadir.

The two teams began the series on Saturday at the Galle International Stadium. Shah took the wicket of Kusal Mendis to equal Qadir’s tally of 236 wickets before snaring the wicket of Angelo Mathews to steer clear of the former pro.
