We’re all available!: Kevin Pietersen hints the selectors
Kevin Pietersen has been in thunderous form with the bat – he has bagged two Man of the Match awards in as many games. In the first match against Bangladesh Legends, the right-hander harrumphed 42 runs from just 17 balls to cut down the chase before his another aggressive inning against India.
The 40-year-old former batsman took to Instagram to take a dig at the current England team, who lost the Test series against India recently by a 3-1 scoreline. England suffered defeat by 4-0 on their previous tour to India in 2016. In fact, it was in 2012 when India last lost a Test series at home – to England itself of which Kevin Pietersen was a key part.
“So England CAN beat India in India! How cool was that game? England selectors – we’re all available!” captioned Kevin Pietersen.
The England Legends, with two wins in two matches, are placed third on the points table. They take on Jonty Rhodes-led South Africa Legends on Thursday.
