India and Delhi Capitals wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is box office in every sense.

While he is a ruthless pocket-size dynamo with the bat, the 23-year-old can give stand-up comics a run for their money when he is keeping.

Pant is an absolute entertainer behind the stumps, a constant chatterbox, who not only takes the mickey out of the opposition batsman but also of his own bowlers by calling them by different names.

And, it seems like he doesn’t even spare his own batsmen during practice sessions in the nets. Delhi Capitals latest recruit Sam Billings found that out during his recent practice session ahead of the IPL.

Billings, who has returned to the Delhi franchise after a gap of three years, was struggling to cope with the turn and bounce in the nets. And as he was trying to find a way to counter it, Rishabh Pant cheekily said– “Someone is not hitting”

The Delhi Capitals uploaded the video of the same and captioned it as- “Rishabh Pant can’t resist himself behind the stumps, even during practice,”

Here is the video of Rishabh Pant sledging Sam Billings during the practice session:

Meanwhile, this will be a crucial season for Rishabh Pant as he will be leading an IPL franchise for the first time.

Pant was named as DC skipper after regular captain Shreyas Iyer was ruled out due to a shoulder injury he suffered during the ODI series against England.

Pant will make his IPL captaincy debut when Delhi Capitals lock horns against the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in Mumbai on April 10.
