It was a night to remember for the Indian National Cricket Team on Wednesday at the Wankhede Stadium. The Virat Kohli-led side came out with all-together a different plan by thrashing West Indies bowlers to all corners of the park with ease. The likes of Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma proved to be too much for West Indies’ bowlers, who have no option rather than surrendering. Commenting on the same, Sourav Ganguly showered words of praise for their fearless approach with the bat.
Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul took off and went after the bowlers from the word go. They absolutely dismantled the Windies bowling attack in the first ten overs after which captain Virat Kohli took charge of proceedings and played a blinder to power India to 240 in 20 overs.

It proved to be too much for West Indies, who ended their innings with 67 runs less than the total of the Indian team. Though Kieron Pollard and Shimron Hetmyer tried with all their heart, the other batsmen failed to rise to the occasion. In the end, India clinched the match by 67 runs and bagged the series 2-1.
Well done India – Sourav Ganguly
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has lauded the Indian cricket team for putting up a “fearless batting” performance in the final game of the series. The former skipper is happy that the players never looked for their personal glory during the third T20I at the Wankhede Stadium.

”Not many expected India to lose a series… Win was not a surprise… What will stand out is the fearless batting which all will see in T20 now. Play without fear… No one plays for his place, but plays to win… Well done India,” Sourav Ganguly wrote on his Twitter panel.
