Sourav Ganguly's phone stolen, Virat Kohli's phone number to get leaked in public
Former India captain and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly’s phone got stolen from his residence in Behala, Kolkata. Sourav Ganguly filed a complaint at Thakurpur police station on Saturday and in his complaint, he mentioned, expressing concerns about the personal information that the phone possessed. He has urged the authorities to take strict measures to prevent any kind of false use of the information and data.
The phone was stolen from Sourav Ganguly’s Behala residence when he was away from his house. He mentioned that he kept his phone at a specific place and when he returned, the phone was missing since then. Sourav Ganguly is getting some painting jobs done at his residence which has seen the influx of Masons in his house who are now being questioned by the police regarding the theft of his phone. Sourav Ganguly also penned a letter to the officer-in-charge of the Thakurpur police station.
Sourav Ganguly is in trouble after his phone went missing as it had access to multiple accounts and contained sensitive information and personal data which can be misused if fell into the wrong hands. In his letter to the officer-in-charge of the Thakurpur police station, Sourav Ganguly mentioned that he last saw the device at 11:30 AM on Saturday after which it could not be located despite searching extensively for the smartphone.
Sourav Ganguly urged the police to recover the phone and ensure that the information it holds is not disclosed under any circumstances as it contains his important personal data and the number is also linked to his bank account. He also revealed that the phone has the contact information of some famous and very important individuals and thus it is important that no information is misused or leaked from the phone.

Sourav Ganguly currently serves as the Director Of Cricket for the IPL franchise Delhi Capitals and he has previously served as the BCCI president and was succeeded recently by Roger Binny. He was the skipper of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the first three seasons of the league and has been one of the most successful captains of the Indian team. Even though he has not won an ICC event as a captain, he is still considered one of the reasons why India won the World Cup in 2011.
