South Africa will be desperate to come up with a better display with both bat and ball when they take on India in the second IND vs SA T20I. The match is scheduled to take place on Sunday (November 10).

In the first meeting against India since losing the T20 World Cup final against them, South Africa had a disastrous outing. The Proteas failed to impress with both bat and ball as they suffered a crushing 61-run loss in the series opener.

Opening the innings, Ryan Rickelton got the start but could not convert it into a big score. The left-handed batsman scored 21 runs off 11 balls.

Captain Aiden Markram got going by hitting two fours off Arshdeep Singh in the very first over. However, he was dismissed by the India pacer in the same over and will be looking to lead from the front in the upcoming game.

Tristan Stubbs

Tristan Stubbs was out for run-a-ball 11 in the series opener and will be keen to make amends in the second IND vs SA T20I.

Heinrich Klaasen (wk)

Heinrich Klaasen will be disappointed with his failure to score big in the first game. The wicketkeeper-batsman did get the start but could not take his team home. He scored 25 runs.

David Miller

Veteran David Miller was out for 18 runs in the series opener. He struggled against India's spinners and will be looking to bounce back in the forthcoming game.

Patrich Kruger walked out to bat in the 12th over and had the chance to impress. However, he did not last long and was out for only 1. With the ball, he gave away 35 runs in just 2 overs.

Marco Jansen had a fine outing with the ball. The southpaw conceded 24 runs in 4 overs and picked up a wicket as well. He also scored 12 runs.

Andile Simelane made his T20I debut in the first IND vs SA T20I but could not make a big impact. With the ball, he gave away 27 runs in 2 overs while with the bat, he scored only 6.

Gerald Coetzee was the pick of the bowlers for South Africa. The right-arm pacer provided crucial breakthroughs for his team and finished the game with figures of 3 for 37.

Keshav Maharaj

Keshav Maharaj will be eyeing a better show in the second T20I after giving away 34 runs in the first game while taking a solitary wicket.

Nqabayomzi Peter

Nqabayomzi Peter had a forgettable outing with the ball too. He conceded 35 runs in three overs and picked up only 1 wicket.
