Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 43rd match of IPL 2025 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. This article provides details about the SRH Playing 11 vs CSK for match 43 of IPL 2025.
SRH Playing 11 vs CSK- IPL 2025, Match 43:
Openers: Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head
Abhishek Sharma will open the innings with Travis Head for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the upcoming game against the Chennai Super Kings. Abhishek Sharma would like to make a significant contribution to the team's score after playing a scratchy innings against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium.
Like Abhshek, Travis Head also crawled his way out of the first six overs against MI, which is something that Head is not known for, and would look to rectify that mistake in the upcoming game against the Chennai Super Kings.
Both Travis and Abhishek took on the opposition bowlers in a record chase of 246 runs and guided the team to a memorable win against PBKS. The duo will hope to replicate that at the Chennai Super Kings' home ground.
Middle-Order Batters and All-Rounders: Ishan Kishan (wk), Nitish Kumar Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen, Abhinav Manohar, Aniket Verma
Sunrisers Hyderabad would hope for their middle-order batters to come good against the Chennai Super Kings in the next game, as they haven't been able to make a meaningful contribution in the tournament so far, barring the opening match against RR, where the Pat Cummins-led side crossed the 250-run mark.
Nitish Kumar Reddy, who grabbed eyeballs through his performance in IPL 2024, has not lived up to the expectations so far and has accumulated low scores while batting at number four for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Reddy has an opportunity to replicate the form of the last edition when he takes the field against the Chennai Super Kings.
Wicketkeeper batter Heinrich Klaasen has also not been able to repeat his heroics of the last season, either, which has come to haunt SRH in the batting department. Klaasen would like to put on a strong show with the bat against the Chennai Super Kings on Friday.
Having said that, Sunrisers Hyderabad would be happy with the form of Aniket Verma, who has impressed everyone with his clean striking against he spinners and has taken SRH to a respectable total in most of the matches this season.
Bowlers: Pat Cummins (c), Harshal Patel, Mohammed Shami, Zeeshan Ansari, Eshan Malinga
SRH would be disappointed with the performance of their bowling up, which includes the likes of experienced bowlers like Mohammed Shami, Pat Cummins, and Harshal Patel, all of whom have been ineffective in all phases of the innings.
Both Shami and Cummins haven't got much support from the other end, with neither Harshal Patel nor Eshan Malinga being able to stem the flow of runs, along with picking up wickets.
The lack of wickets with the new ball hasn't helped SRH's spin bowling department either, which is being handled by young Zeeshan Ansari, who is the lone specialist spinner in the team's playing XI in the absence of Adam Zampa.
