Fans on Twitter reacted after Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) registered another dominant win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. They crushed Punjab Kings (PBKS) by four wickets at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday (19th May).

The Punjab Kings were off to a brutal start with the bat. The duo of Prabhsimran Singh (71) and Atharva Taide (46) batted with positive intent at the top at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. They gave a great start, adding 91 runs for the opening stand. 

Before Rilee Rossouw (49) played a solid hand as well for the team. Punjab Kings lost the moment as they lost some quick wickets in the middle and it seemed that they wouldn’t be able to finish on high. But it was skipper Jitesh Sharma (32*) who stood tall for his team in the end. 

Jitesh made sure his team finished the innings on high. Based on the powerful end, Punjab Kings ended with a total of 214. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, T Natarajan was the pick of the bowlers with his figures of two for 33. 

Sunrisers Hyderabad had a forgetful start to the chase as Travis Head fell on the first ball of the innings. But after that, Rahul Tripathi (33) and Abhishek Sharma (66) brought their team back into the game. They took attack to the bowlers and stitched 72 runs for the second wicket. 

Nitish Reddy (37) chipped with a handy knock as well that powered Sunrisers Hyderabad close to the target. Heinrich Klaasen (42) in the end played well and based on his innings, Sunrisers Hyderabad chased the target with 4 wickets in hand.
