The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad is hosting the 41st match of the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024), which is being played between the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Thursday, April 25.

Both SRH and RCB have operated in a similar fashion in the IPL 2024 with their batters doing the heavy lifting in order to compensate for their bowling deficiencies. However, only one team has done it consistently and successfully, which is the Orange Army.

Pat Cummins' Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are one of the most dangerous teams in IPL 2024 as their ultra-aggressive batting unit can demolish any bowling line-up on a given day and they are currently at the third position on the points table with 10 points in their bag.

Faf du Plessis' Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), meanwhile, have been overall very poor with their performances as out of 8 matches they have won just one to see themselves at the very bottom of the standings. Mathematically, the fan favorites - RCB - are not out of the playoffs race, but something needs to change significantly for RCB to reach the playoffs this time around.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and opted to bat first in the match. They fielded an unchanged playing XI for the high-voltage clash. At the toss, Faf du Plessis was hopeful of posting a big score on the board. Faf du Plessis was also happy to see the amount of support RCB were getting in the away match in Hyderabad. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper said:

"We are gonna bat first. We feel like our fans go with us everywhere. These boys have been playing some amazing cricket, hopefully we can put some scoreboard pressure on them. We fought really hard in the last game. Same team."

Meanwhile, SRH captain Pat Cummins talked about the SRH fans and revealed that they have made one change to their line-up by bringing in Jaydev Unadkat for Washington Sundar. Pat Cummins stated:

"It's been awesome, good to be back here. It's my first year here. The amount of people wearing orange, feels like a good place. We want to bat the same way. We have to adjust quicker as a bowling side. Unadkat comes in for Washington Sundar."
