Sri Lanka Men’s Cricket Team have announced their squad for the Test series against Bangladesh which is scheduled to begin next month from 15th May in Chattogram.

In May 2022, Sri Lanka’s cricket team will travel to Bangladesh for two Test matches. The Test series will be part of the ICC World Test Championship from 2021 to 2023.

Only two Test matches will be played during the tour. While the first Test begins in Chattogram, the second will be contested at the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium in Dhaka from the 23rd to the 27th of May.

Sri Lanka’s previous Test series occurred earlier this year against India. The tourists were severely outplayed by Rohit Sharma’s side in India, losing the Test series 0-2, including an innings defeat.

Sri Lanka Squad For Bangladesh Tour:

In the current WTC cycle, Dimuth Karunaratne’s team has only played two-Test series. They are presently ranked fifth in the points standings, with a victory percentage of 50%.
