The Sri Lanka Cricket Association has named 46 players who will be part of the Lankan side across the three formats of the game. The contract runs between the 1st of April 2026 and the 31st of March 2027.
The Sri Lankans have their next series scheduled against the West Indies, which starts tomorrow on the 3rd of June. It includes a three-match ODI series, which will be followed by three T20I matches as well. This will next include two matches in the red-ball format.
They will then advance to England to feature in a long T20I and ODI series against England before returning to India to feature in a long white ball series, which includes three ODI and three T20I matches again.
Sri Lanka cricket announces National Player Contracts for 2026-27
Sri Lanka Cricket has announced 46 players who are part of the national player contracts for the 2026-2027 season, which will also include their upcoming bilaterals and the ICC ODI World Cup 2027.
Players have been ideally contracted under the categories of A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and central contract based on performance, potential, and consistency, as well. The SLC aims to provide the required amount of support and development needed in the country.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced 46 players who have been selected to be part of the National Player Contracts for the 2026-27 season. The contract period will run from the 1st of April 2026 to the 31st of March 2027.

New Inclusions to the National Contracts
The SLC went on to state that several new players have been added to the contract, with the likes of Kamil Mishara, Lasith Croospulle, Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, Isitha Wijesundera, Wanuja Sahan, Dilum Sudeera, and Tharindu Rathnayake being the new inclusions in the national contract.
Sri Lanka Cricket congratulated all contract players and extended a special welcome to those receiving national contracts for the first time.
