Sri Lanka will be desperate for a victory against England in the climax game of the series. ENG vs SL 3rd Test begins on Friday and Sri Lanka trails 0-2 after losing the first two games.

The visitors showcased great efforts in both games but they lacked teamwork and could not overpower the hosts. They lost the 1st match by 5 wickets and the 2nd Test by 190 runs.

Dhananjaya de Silva leads the team in the series and would look to change the strategy in the final clash. He might also make some changes to the playing 11. Below is Sri Lanka's possible playing 11 vs England for the 3rd Test.

Pathum Nissanka might be the other opener for the side. He was not picked in the 1st Test and played at one-down in the last game. He will aim for a good show in the final clash.

Nishan Madushka

Nishan Madushka will take the wicketkeeper's hat in the 3rd Test against England and bat at one-down. He failed as an opener in both innings in the last game.
