Sri Lanka is all set to take on West Indies in the 1st ODI of the ongoing West Indies tour of Sri Lanka 2024. WI vs SL 1st ODI takes place on Sunday, October 20 at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka.
Charith Asalanka is the skipper of the team in the series. The all-rounder led the team to victory in the T20I series. Now, he will look to get the same result in the ODI series too.

Avishka Fernando will be the one-down batsman for the side. He was not picked in the playing 11 in the T20Is but was part of the ODI series against India in the previous series and will be the other opener.
Kusal Mendis (WK)
Kusal Mendis slammed 113 runs in 3 games at an average of 56+ in the T20I series. He was the wicketkeeper in the previous ODI series. The wicketkeeper-batsman will don the same role against West Indies as well.
Sadeera Samarawickrama
