Former New Zealand Captain Stephen Fleming has been a force to reckon with in franchise cricket. Fleming is considered to be one of the most successful coaches in the history of IPL. Fleming has been quite instrumental with CSK as he has taken CSK to 4 titles.

CSK has been one of the most consistent franchises in the history of IPL. The Cricketer has a very good bond with the legendary Captain MS Dhoni as the duo has been quite ruthless. It would be interesting to see how CSK performs in the 2023 edition after a disastrous 2022 edition.

Stephen Fleming Appointed Southern Brave Coach

Stephen Fleming is set to coach Southern Brave for the upcoming 2023 edition. Earlier Mahela Jayawardene was a part of Southern Brave but Mahela now has been appointed Head Coach of MI Emirates & MI Cape Town. Mahela Jayawardene has been given a global role by Mumbai Indians (MI).

Stephen Fleming an Asset

The Cricketer has also had a stint with Melbourne Stars. Fleming is one of the prolific coaches in the franchise circuit. Fleming was quite pivotal in the 2018 season when CSK had come out from the ban as they were suspended for the 2016 &2017 seasons and there was huge pressure on CSK in that tournament.

Fleming would be a great addition for Hundred tournament as the tournament is considered to be the next big thing in franchise circuit. Coaches like Daniel Vettori & Andy Flower have praised the tournament a lot. It would be interesting to see how Stephen Fleming fares in his maiden stint.
