England won the T20 World Cup 2022 under the leadership of Jos Buttler. Overall, England have won the T20 World Cup twice and since 2019 has been one of the most destructive white-ball sides in international cricket.
The England players who were a part of the IPL, will be back for national commitments. They will be playing a four-match T20I series against Pakistan before venturing into their T20 World Cup.
Phil Salt and Jos Buttler, the two England batters were in brilliant form in the IPL and will now be sizing up Pakistan before the T20 World Cup. Sam Curran and Jonny Bairstow are the other two players who were in decent form for Punjab Kings.
Salt was the consistent of the England batters scoring 435 runs for KKR at an average of nearly 40 and a strike rate of 182.01. England have one of the most well-rounded squads among all the teams.

Strongest England Playing 11 for T20 World Cup 2024
Batters: Jos Buttler (C), Phil Salt
England can look to change the opening combination and Salt and Buttler can open the batting for the side. Salt was in absolutely brilliant form for KKR till the time he played for the website.
He can give explosive starts to England which will allow Buttlet to settle himself at the other end. England have several brilliant all-rounders to slot in the middle order.
Salt scored back-to-back centuries against West Indies just after the IPL auction last year to give a glimpse of his batting prowess. He has not played too much of T20I cricket for England and this tournament might just be his tournament.
All-Rounders: Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran, Will Jacks
All four can be a part of the playing XI for England in no particular order though. All four players can bat anywhere in the lineup from four to number seven or even eight.
England's biggest advantage is the flexibility that these players give to the side. All of them can bowl as well which makes them an asset in the XI.
Wicketkeeper- Jonny Bairstow
Bairstow will keep wickets for England. He is an experienced batter and can bat at number three for the side allowing salt to open with Buttler.
Salt plays his best while opening the batting and this is where Bairstow's experience of batting anywhere in the batting lineup comes into play. He can make the necessary switch if required.
Bowlers: Jofra Archer, Chris Jordan, Reece Topley, Adil Rashid
Archer will surely play for England if he is fully fit. If not Mark Wood can replace him in the XI. Topley swings the ball up front and Jordan is England's specialist in death overs. Rashid is the specialist leg spinner in the side completing the XI.
The England bowling attack has the necessary variety, depth, and experience that is required in T20 cricket. Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, and Liam Livingstone add to the bowling variety to the side.
