England pacer Stuart Broad has reckoned that the home side holds a slight advantage going into the fourth day of the ongoing second Test at Lord’s.

The second Test of the Pataudi Trophy is tantalizingly poised with Joe Root’s 180* helping the hosts take a slender but significant 27-run-lead after the completion of their first innings.

While the third day of the Test was played under glorious sunshine at Lord’s, the fourth morning saw a bit of drizzle and a cloud cover in the lead-up.

And, Stuart Broad believes that with it being overcast, the ball could move around a bit as compared to the third day.

The English seamer, who has been ruled out of the series due to a calf injury, added that bowling from the Pavilion End could help the bowlers get the ball to nip back into India’s right-handers to bring LBW and bowled into play.

With the pitch keeping low at times, Broad believes that top-edge off a bouncer could be a likely occurrence.

He signed off by stating that with India boasting of a long tail, two early wickets can put real pressure on the visitors.

”Bit cloudy in London. Ball will move a little bit today. To India’s right-handed batters, nipping it down the slope from Pavillion End. Bowled, LBWs, top edge the bouncer will be a huge threat. Slight advantage England I feel. 2 wkts with new ball would be huge with long tail,” wrote Stuart Broad on Twitter.

Trailing England by 27 runs, Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul have already wiped out 17 off those and the visiting side will hope that the duo continues the imperious form that they have displayed in the series so far.
