Harry Brook produced a stunning Dilscoop off Tim Southee, sending a slower delivery over the wicketkeeper’s head for six. Coming in at number four, Brook’s primary task was to score quick runs for the Northern Superchargers, and he delivered brilliantly.
The right-handed batter initially shaped for a reverse hit but adjusted mid-shot, executing it with perfect timing and power. Despite losing his balance after the stroke, the ball cleared the boundary, leaving the crowd and opponents stunned.
Cricket fans on social media described Brook’s shot as “outrageous,” amazed at his ability to improvise and perform such a difficult stroke with ease across formats.

Dawid Malan (58) and Zak Crawley (45) made crucial contributions for the Superchargers. In reply, Liam Livingstone (46) and Jacob Bethell (48) were the only notable scorers for Birmingham Phoenix, while the rest of the lineup struggled.
For the Superchargers, Matthew Potts took three wickets, with Jacob Duffy, Adil Rashid, and Tom Lawes claiming two each. Rashid dismissed both set batters for Phoenix, who were eventually restricted to 157/9.
The victory propelled the Superchargers to the top of the points table with three wins from four matches, while Birmingham Phoenix remain at the bottom with just one win in four games.
