Kolkata Knight Riders are all set to receive a major boost ahead of the game against Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. As per the reports, it is learned that Sunil Narine is all set to be fit for the next game of the league.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) were without the services of Sunil Narine in the last game of the IPL 2025 against Rajasthan Royals. The all-rounder was unwell and in his absence, Moeen Ali played the match and played a massive role for the side with the ball.

But Moeen Ali might get just one game as he might have to make way for Sunil Narine. The former West Indies National Cricket Team player was seen training with the team at the Wankhede Stadium before the game against Mumbai Indians, which will be played on 31st March.

Narine was seen practicing range hitting in the nets along with Andre Russell. The all-rounder, if fit, is likely to walk straightaway into the XI as he has been one of the mainstays of the franchise in batting as well as bowling department over the last few years in the league.

Sunil Narine’s condition is stable and he is under medical observation - Reports

The reports in News Bangla stated that Narine is stable and under medical observation. It is also learned that there are high chances that the Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder will be available for the next game against Mumbai Indians. The report read:

“Sunil Narine’s condition is stable and he is under medical observation. There is a possibility that he may play in the match against Mumbai Indians on March 31 at the Wankhede Stadium.”

Sunil Narine played a vital role for Kolkata Knight Riders against Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Narine played the first game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Kolkata Knight Riders against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The all-rounder played a vital hand for his team. He scored 44 runs off 26 balls while opening the batting and then returned with the figures of 1/27 in four overs.

However, his effort went in vain as Kolkata Knight Riders failed to win that game. They suffered a 7-wicket defeat and, after that, made a strong comeback against Rajasthan Royals. The Ajinkya Rahane-led side dominated the game and registered two important points.

Kolkata Knight Riders would be keen to replicate the same form in the game against Mumbai Indians. They don't have a great record against the Hardik Pandya-led side, and this time around, they would be hoping to change that thing.
