Urbanrisers Hyderabad Becomes First Team To Reach Playoffs In LLC 2023
The Suresh Raina-led Hyderabad team became the first team to secure a spot in the playoffs by securing a 7-wicket victory over the Bhilwara Kings in the 12th match of the tournament. Rikki Clarke played a crucial role in the win, delivering a match-winning performance with a knock of 73 runs in just 44 balls, including two fours and seven sixes.
Earlier in the match, the Bhilwara Kings won the toss and elected to bat, reaching a total of 144/6 in their allocated 20 overs. Tillakratne Dilshan played an impressive innings, scoring 53 runs off 37 balls, featuring a six and six fours. Chris Mpofu (1-24), Pawan Suyal (2-27), and Shadab Jakati (1-15) delivered economical bowling spells during the match.
After 12 matches in LLC 2023, the Bhilwara Kings currently hold the fifth position with just one win from five matches, including one with no result. The Urbanrisers Hyderabad, led by Suresh Raina, are leading the table with three wins from four games. The Urbanrisers Hyderabad team is positioned at the top of the standings in the ongoing tournament.
