"Surgery is on till death"- Mohammad Hafeez hilariously trolls PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi

PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi is attacked from all corners after Pakistan's loss to Bangladesh in Rawalpindi.

Mohammad Hafeez is the latest to take a dig at him. Meanwhile, the loss has pushed Pakistan to the ninth position on the WTC table.

Pakistan's struggle in Test cricket has continued and this particular loss to Bangladesh and that too at home signifies that they do not have a vision for playing Test cricket.

Playing in home conditions, they decided to field an all-pace attack and did not include a spinner. Not picking up a spinner was the biggest mistake.

The pitch did not spin much in the first innings but in the second it did and the Bangladesh spinners gained the advantage.

They picked up seven wickets and bowled out Pakistan for just 146 in the second innings, Bangladesh needed just 30 to win in the second innings which they did with all 10 wickets in hand.

Several former cricketers have blamed PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi for the sad state of affairs in Pakistan cricket and Pakistan's Test cricket.

His comment about Pakistan needing surgery after they lost to India in the T20 World Cup has been a raging factor. That he did nothing to change it has bothered the fans and the experts even more.

Former cricketers have blamed him for not taking pertinent and strict action against certain players in the team who have been playing for a long time without performing at their best.

Naqvi after Pakistan's loss to Bangladesh sent out a tweet congratulating Bangladesh on their victory while saying that he is baking the Men in Green to make a comeback in the next Test match.

"Bangladesh Cricket Team has played wonderfully, and have held their ground throughout the match. It is a historic win for they have won against Pakistan for the first time. Heartiest Congratulations to them!

Unfortunately, the Pakistan Cricket Team could not perform as well as it should have. InshaAllah, the men in green will make a comeback in the upcoming match!" Mohsin Naqvi wrote on his X handle.

Hafeez while responding to his tweet brought about the old reference to his "surgery comment" that he made after the T20 World Cup loss. "Surgery is On till death...." he said on his X handle.

Pakistan cricket and its administration seem to be lacking the direction in which they need to work. All the focus at the moment seems to be on the ICC Champions Trophy and getting the venues ready for the ICC event.

Pakistan are still the host of the event. However, they are lagging behind a lot in terms of their preparations for the mega event. The major venues where matches will be played are said to be renovated on time.

Meanwhile, with all the focus on the Champions Trophy, Pakistan's recent loss to Bangladesh has angered their fans and former cricketers of the country.

All of them in unison have targeted the PCB Chief for not improving the standards of cricket in the country.

The second Test between the two sides starts on August 30. Pakitan needs to win the Test to level the series.
