On Tuesday, September 6, star India National Cricket Team all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja provided a positive update on his knee injury, asserting that his knee surgery was successful.
The 33-year-old’s knee issues have been troubling him for a while now. Recently, he missed the ODI games against West Indies National Cricket Team due to his right knee injury.
Meanwhile, on Friday, September 2, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) issued an official statement in which it was asserted that Jadeja’s right knee injury has ruled him out of the Asia Cup 2022 and Axar Patel will replace him in the squad.
The all-rounder’s absence came as a huge blow to the Indian team as he provides a much-needed balance to the side. In his absence, Team India were forced to make several changes to their playing XI in the Super 4 stage game against Pakistan.

Also, recently it was reported that the knee injury of the all-rounder will rule him out of the entire ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, which is set to be held in Australia in October-November.
Notably, a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) official had told PTI that his knee injury of Jadeja is “pretty serious” and the all-rounder will have to undergo a major knee surgery, which will keep him “out of action for an indefinite period of time”.
