Suryakumar Yadav took the match-winning catch of David Miller in the T20 World Cup final and since then he has become everyone's favorite. The catch he took overshadowed his contribution with the bat and India won their second T20 World Cup title.

SKY ended up with 199 runs in 8 games at an average of 28.43 and a strike rate of 135 with 15 fours and 10 sixes. He scored two fifties and played a crucial knock of 47 runs in the semi-final against England.

All the Indian cricketers fielded brilliantly throughout the tournament but SKY's catch was a testament to the agility and fitness that the Indian players maintained throughout the tournament.

He is innovation par excellence, he is the evolution of cricket - Navjot Singh Sidhu On Suryakumar Yadav

Speaking to Star Sports, former Indian cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu sang praises on SKY's match-winning catch. He also spoke about his ability with the bat and how he almost mercilessly plays the bowlers when he is on song.

"He is innovation par excellence, he is the evolution of cricket. Our coaches used to ask us to play in the V while his v is opposite to orthodox cricketing shots. His v is opposite to the normal V that is there on a cricket ground. His shots defy the normal coaching manual," said the former Indian cricketer.

Further explaining how SKY goes about scoring runs on the pitch Sidhu said "he scores all around the ground, 360 degrees. His brain works like a computer. He gets a little more time as he stands deep in the crease. He also uses the angles cleverly standing deep in the crease."

The former Indian cricketer hailed him as the "Superman" of the cricket world for his ability to take on the bowlers. "This guy plays shots to a ball outside off stump to deep square leg leaving the fielders on the off side dazed. He has a very good understanding of where the fielders are. He is the Superman of this cricketing world. He plays shots none of the other batters can even think of playing.

"SKY can leave the bowlers helpless, intimidate them, instill fear in them when he is on song. It is Surya who controls the game when he is playing while the other just watch and admire," said Sidhu as he concluded the segment on SKY.
