Suryakumar Yadav equals Temba Bavuma's WORLD RECORD in T20 Cricket

The 34-year-old Mumbai Indians (MI) star batsman Suryakumar Yadav has created history with his consistent batting performances in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Suryakumar Yadav also matched the world record of the South Africa National Cricket Team captain Temba Bavuma in T20 cricket on Wednesday, May 21.

MI star Suryakumar Yadav is in red-hot form
The India T20I skipper Suryakumar, has set the stage on fire in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has scored runs in almost every game and played a key role in MI's stunning turnaround.
He has consistently chipped in with 25 or more runs for the Mumbai Indians, and with this, he broke the long-standing record of the batter Robin Uthappa, a few weeks ago, for the most consecutive 25+ scores in the Indian Premier League. Notably, Robin Uthappa’s mark of 10 consecutive innings with 25 or more runs was surpassed by Suryakumar Yadav.
Suryakumar has further extended his record and now he has equalled the Proteas batter Temba Bavuma for the most successive 25+ scores in men's T20s.
In the year 2019-20, Bavuma had registered 13 consecutive scores of 25 or more, and now Suryakumar has matched that record in the ongoing Indian Premier League season. He also equalled the record of Kane Williamson and Shubman Gill for the most 25-plus scores in an IPL season.
